By working at Yellowstone National Park, you will get all three As the Historic Preservation Crew Member or the Historic Preservation Lead, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day maintenance functions that keep the park running smoothly.Job Summary:The Historic Preservation Carpenters are responsible responsible for delivering quality craftsmanship through assigned work orders and tasks. The position requires maintaining and securing equipment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations, and possessing competent knowledge of carpentry tools and their safe operation. The ideal candidate should have several years of general carpentry experience or equivalent expertise in the field.The Historic Preservation Lead must be proficient in supervising personnel and possess 5 years of hands-on preservation maintenance experience or equivalent. The Leads will perform skilled carpentry work to complete assigned restoration and maintenance tasks while ensuring tools and equipment are properly used and maintained. They must follow safety regulations and demonstrate strong craftsmanship.
