Two initial project locations are available - Washington state's John W. Keys automation project and Oklahoma's RS Kerr dam.The Site Manager will be on the site of the work continually during its progress. The Site Manager shall direct the work specified, shall be present at the site during erection and shall be responsible for providing complete and correct direction of installation work, the initial starting, and subsequent operation of the equipment until the field tests are completed. The Superintendent is responsible for following safety procedures. The Site Manager shall initiate instructions for actions to inspect, handle, assemble and test the equipment.The following responsibilities form the core of this role:Hiring and managing site labor and site subcontractorsResponsible for managing the labor hours allocated to the project.Responsible for managing site costs and inventories.Primary contact to union dispatcher when applicable.Managing supervision team.Managing site schedule and providing feedback to the project manager/scheduler as required.Management of health, safety and environmental matters.Preparation of site logs using ANDRITZ tools and procedures.Conduct daily "toolbox" meetings.Completion of punch-list items.Manage customer relations on site.Manage claims and change orders; Maintain documentation of site conditions.Adherence to customer / ANDRITZ requirements as related to the work site.Assist in controlling project costs, cost recovery (claims), administration and project execution.Report to in-office project managers the status of projects.Report to manager all problems and actions that need resolution.Responsibility of periodic reporting.Do you fit the profile?Successful teams share objectives, and they also share values In addition to solid skills and experience, we need someone with strong motivation, a positive mindset, and a willingness to be part of a team.The ideal candidate should be willing to work in a complex, fast-paced environment, with evolving priorities.
