The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing installations while working within budget and time constraints. As a key player, you will collaborate closely with project foremen, ensure smooth project progression, and build strong relationships with our customers. We pride ourselves on maintaining strong relationships with Owners, General Contractors, and Subcontractors, creating a team environment to ensure project success.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Deliver Projects on Budget and Schedule:Work 40 hours per week, arriving punctually and adhering to scheduled breaks and lunches.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure adherence to project standards.Attend daily and weekly meetings with the Project Foreman or Project Manager to understand project goals.Prepare tools and materials in advance to maximize task efficiency.Ensure quality workmanship to prevent deficiencies and avoid rework.Proactively request tools or materials early to prevent production delays.Customer Service and Jobsite Maintenance:Refer all customer inquiries regarding changes to project timelines, work scope, or design to the Project Foreman.Communicate professionally and courteously with customers and report any concerns to the Project Foreman.Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.Maintain Licensing and Participate in Training:Maintain an active journeyman plumber's license (Idaho residents) and meet all continuing education requirements.If licensed from another state, obtain an Idaho journeyman license within 6 months of the start date or hold an apprentice license if necessary.Actively participate in the company's training and development programs.Employee Evaluation and Performance:Participate in regular employee evaluations, setting personal and professional goals.Work with supervisors to improve skills and track progress based on evaluation feedback.Mentor and train plumbing apprentices, guiding them through company procedures and best practices.The ideal candidate should possess:Valid journeyman plumbing license (Idaho or ability to obtain within 6 months).Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to follow instructions and adapt to project requirements.Proficiency in reading blueprints and project documentation.Commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality workmanship.Willingness to mentor and train plumbing apprentices.Benefits:Health Insurance OptionsMedical 50-80% (employee and children)VisionDentalRetirement Plan Options401 K401 K MatchPaid Time Off & Paid holidaysCareer Growth OpportunitiesWork Life BalanceCompany and Team EventsCompany life insuranceSchedule:40hrs per weekMonday to FridayWork Location:In PersonIdaho Falls, ID and surrounding areasIf you're a dedicated Journeyman Plumber with a passion for delivering top-notch plumbing solutions and mentoring the next generation, apply today to join our team at Bingham Mechanical, Inc.We foster a family-like environment where every employee is valued.
