Job PurposeEnsure safe, compliant, and efficient electrical operations across multiple facilities by providing expert-level electrical support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance. Serve as the designated Master of Record for Minnesota, overseeing permitting and code compliance, and supporting the development of maintenance staff through training and coaching.Essential FunctionsPlan, design, layout, and supervise installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systemsTroubleshoot complex electrical and control systems (e.g., motors, VFDs, PLCs, control panels)Ensure compliance with NEC, Minnesota State Electrical Code, NFPA, OSHA, and other standardsPrepare and review blueprints, specifications, material lists, and cost/time estimatesOversee permit applications, inspections, and maintain documentation of electrical workAct as the signing Master of Record for Minnesota facilitiesTrain and coach new and existing employees on electrical systems, safety practices, and maintenance proceduresDevelop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programsManage inventory of electrical parts and coordinate with vendorsCoordinate with contracted electricians and external vendors to ensure electrical work meets compliance, quality, and safety standardsSupport capital projects, upgrades, and system integrationsParticipate in safety programs and ensure lock-out/tag-out complianceMaintain a structured schedule supporting operations across three locations, potentially including after-hours emergency call coverage as neededComply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and proceduresPerform other job-related duties as assignedQualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or diploma in electrical technology, electronics, or industrial maintenance preferredValid Minnesota Class A Master Electrician license (or equivalent with ability to convert)5+ years of electrical experience (required for licensure)3+ years of industrial or manufacturing experience preferredCertifications in electrical safety, arc flash, or high-voltage systems preferredExperience with control systems, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and instrumentationFamiliarity with CMMS or asset management systems preferredAbility to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and control logicDemonstrated ability to train and coach othersStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective verbal and written communicationProficient in math and technical documentationThe hourly range for this role is $36.00 to $50.00 per hour. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
