Job Description:Event Planners & Catering Staff is always looking for great, passionate, dedicated, and hard-working team members to join our team.You get to work with various caterers, country clubs and venues throughout your areaWork when, where, and with who you wantPart-time flexible shift workFun and fast-paced environmentGreat teamTraining is availableEvent Planners and Catering Staff has earned a reputation of being the premier source for professional event planning and catering staff.An event assistant chef is responsible for assisting the event chef in all activities of the kitchen, including menu development, kitchen setup, inventory, food preparation and presentation, cleaning, and kitchen breakdown. Food preparation and service must be performed in a timely manner and according to all safety and sanitation standards. Event assistant chefs must have a strong understanding of food preparation activities, ingredients, and food combinations and use this knowledge to assist the chef in preparing event meals most efficiently.-At least 1-3 years of prior experience in professional kitchen with emphasis on high-end food and catering production-Reliability and responsibility-Able to help the event chef supervise the kitchen if needed-Strong knife skills & cooking skills-Great attitude is a necessity-Be able to work with a team and think quickly on your feet while providing great service and presentation-Must be have outstanding customer service skills with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment-The ability to stand for most of the work day-Able to lift at least 25 pounds-Able to help kitchen staff to load and unload a van/truck and set up an event kitchen-At least 1-3 years of prior experience in professional kitchen with emphasis on high-end food and catering production-Reliability and responsibility-Able to help the event chef supervise the kitchen if needed-Strong knife skills & cooking skills-Great attitude is a necessity-Be able to work with a team and think quickly on your feet while providing great service and presentation-Must be have outstanding customer service skills with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment-The ability to stand for most of the work day-Able to lift at least 25 pounds-Able to help kitchen staff to load and unload a van/truck and set up an event kitchenRequired Skills:• Inventory• Sanitation• Cooking• Load• Excel• Catering• Customer Service• PreparationSalary Package:$ 18.00 - 23.00 (US Dollar)
