Licensed PlumberDepartment: InstallEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: South Burlington, VTReporting To: Install Department ManagerCompensation: $30.00 - $50.00 / hourDescriptionJob Summary:Alliance Group is seeking a Licensed Plumber based in South Burlington, VT to join our growing Install team.The Licensed Plumber will be responsible for installations, routine maintenance, and inspections associated with commercial plumbing systems, as well as assisting with regular service-related tasks for commercial HVAC systems. Individuals must demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as an aptitude for problem solving, time management, and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesUtilize core plumbing skills such as using hand tools, plumbing tools, and power tools to perform plumbing installations and repairs (pro-press, threading, soldering, etc.)Install plumbing equipment and measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle as neededAccurately read blueprints and other technical drawings Determine the appropriate size(s) and pathway(s) for pipe installations, including accommodating water supply networks and waste drainage systemsInspect and test plumbing systems to ensure they are up to code, meet all building and safety standards, and job specifications are metUtilize HVAC knowledge for relevant projects and write ups for repair recommendations on jobsitesAssist with service-related tasks for commercial HVAC systems, including preventative maintenance and service calls that require troubleshootingPerform heavy lifting as needed and adhere to safety protocolsCollaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budgetMaintain a clean and organized work environmentEssential Qualifications and CompetenciesValid driver's license requiredActive plumbing license (journeyman or master) requiredMedical Gas certificate preferredGas License preferredRigging certification preferredOSHA 10 preferredMinimum 2 years of experience in commercial plumbing preferredProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and other technical drawingsKnowledge of Build-Ops platform desiredStrong interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work efficientlyHigh level of reliability, follow-through, discretion, and integrityMust possess proactive, positive problem-solving skillsMust be an energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team playExcellent communication skills (written and oral)Must maintain a company vehicleMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basisU.S. citizenship or a current, valid U.S. work permit is mandatoryApplicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.A background verification and motor vehicle check will be required.A pre-employment post-offer Human Performance Examination is required for this position.
