EPI Power is hiring a Commissioning Manager to join our growing team in Cedar Rapids, IA The Commissioning Manager is responsible for providing direction and leadership on data center projects. The role includes managing the commissioning process from level 1 through level 5, leading the turnover of a fully commissioned data center to our customer. The ideal candidate is open to relocating for future project needs. This role requires the ability to work 6 days per week, Monday - Saturday.

What You'll Do

Direct and manage the commissioning process on the project inclusive of the startup plan, commissioning schedule, and functional testingOversee the inspection process during commissioning to ensure work is delivered in a timely manner, meeting all customer expectations and specificationsDirect and handle the commissioning process on the project inclusive of the startup plan, commissioning schedule, and functional testingLead all activities required in the project closeout inclusive of operations and maintenance manuals, model turn over, and trainingFunction as the main point of contact and resolve site commissioning issues and concerns that the customer may haveManage and implement the QC ProgramEnsure testing is performed and provide QC certifications and documentation requiredManage and coordinate the three phases of control and documentation performed by inspection and testing personnelConduct QC meetings with project teamImplement methods for monitoring work activities such as three phases of control and daily progress reports to accurately inform project manager and/or project superintendent of current status of work activityCoordinate and participate in pre-installation conferences with subcontractorsCoordinate follow-up inspectionsDocument all quality inspections and pre-installation meetingsManage and coordinate QC Technicians and any other inspection and testing personnelReview submittals for accuracy and compliance with plans and specificationsEnsure that shop drawing and submittal review and approval process is effective and efficientCommunicate with appropriate parties to collect quality information for improvement and/or quality concernsWhat We're Looking For:* Experience:* 6+ years of experience overseeing electrical scopes preferably with a mechanical or electrical contractor* Experience with data center QA/QC* An industry related bachelor's degree is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
