Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.Position Details:Pay: $21.50/hourShift: starts at 4:00pm, Sunday through ThursdayPosition Responsibilities:Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines. Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.Obtain work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations.Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear where applicable.Perform daily safety check of the assigned forklift / pallet jack in accordance with company policy.Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.Well versed on loading SOPs.Assist warehouse crew with duties in emergency and non-emergency situations.Perform damage control, checks condition of load on each batch, contact supervisor if any issues requiring assistance.Perform loading, selection, shipping, receiving, forklift put-away/replenishment, returns, auditing and/or other warehouse duties per business need.Provide oversight, direction and input on work performed by associates in assigned area.Responsible for completion and accuracy of all Food Safety forms daily.Perform general housekeeping duties and keep warehouse area, loading dock and trailers clear and clean as required. Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
