Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMust have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time Behavior Specialist with BCBA credentials is needed to support K-12 students in Barre, VT for the 2025/2026 school year. This contract role will provide in-person behavioral support and intervention services across Barre City Elementary & Middle School and Barre Town Middle & Elementary School, following the academic calendar from ASAP through June 19, 2026 (tentative).Key Responsibilities:Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plansCollaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement and monitor behavior strategiesProvide training and guidance to school personnel regarding evidence-based behavioral practicesMaintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state guidelinesSupport students across a range of needs within both elementary and middle school settingsQualifications:Bachelors degree in a related field preferred; other education plus 2 years relevant experience or equivalent combination consideredBoard Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential preferredKnowledge of developmental stages and behavioral approaches appropriate for K-12 populationsStrong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teamsLocation:Barre, Vermont (in-person role serving multiple schools within the district)Benefits:Full-time position with consistent weekly hours (37.5 hours/week)Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student success in a supportive school environmentProfessional development through direct engagement with diverse student needsIf you have a passion for supporting students with behavioral challenges and meet the qualifications outlined, we encourage you to submit your application.
