Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A Certified Surgical Technologist with a focus on ortho and neuro cases is sought for a 13-week contract assignment in West Bloomfield, MI. This role demands hands-on expertise in supporting surgical teams by managing instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures, ensuring smooth and safe operations.Schedule/Hours:Monday to Friday 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Key Responsibilities:Prepare and handle surgical instruments and supplies during general surgeries Anticipate the surgical teams needs based on the procedure being performed Assist in patient preparation, transport, and provide support for comfort and safety Respond promptly to emergency situations following established protocols Collaborate closely with the Registered Nurse and other surgical team members Qualifications & Desired Experience:Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program required Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience strongly preferred; candidates with 1+ years will be considered Strong experience in orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures preferred Location Overview:West Bloomfield, MI, is a vibrant community offering a suburban lifestyle with close proximity to a broad range of amenities.
