We care for you.Position Overview* A working supervisor who performs the duties of medical technical staff (e.g., technicians and assistants) as well as scheduling and supervising the staff of the assigned department. Expedites the care and efficiency of the department. In charge of patient care standards for the department. Must lead the team by example, demonstrating organizational skills, following company policies, and maintaining a professional attitude.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain processes for effective medical record keeping and billingCollect and process work chartsAssist with entering in-patient charges and/or procedures performed in billing systemEnsure invoices are sent monthly and as requested by clients and doctorsProcess payments and monthly statementsResolve escalated financial problems with clients, collecting delinquent accounts and "NSF'" checks; determines when special financial agreements are appropriateAssist with monitoring and reporting on accounts receivablePrepare, print and mail invoice or statement copies for customers as requestedPerforms other duties as assignedBe dependable and punctualQualifications (Required)* Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in California* 3 years of experience in a leadership rolePreferred Skills (Nice to Have)* Experience in emergency hospital* 4 years of Vet Med experienceSchedule* Full-time opportunity, shifts may vary from Day and OvernightWhat We OfferWe care deeply about supporting our team members - professionally and personally.
