Project Manager

Job Title: Project ManagerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong experience in managing projects in various sectors, including hospitals, industrial, data centers, commercial, government, and energy. The successful candidate will oversee estimating, cost control, forecasting, and scheduling multiple projects from inception to completion. Additionally, they will manage the financial aspects of projects, including forecasting.Responsibilities+ Estimate, control costs, forecast, and schedule multiple projects through to final completion.+ Manage financial aspects of the projects including forecasting.+ Communicate effectively with foremen regarding job expectations and goals.+ Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.+ Report and escalate issues to management as necessary.+ Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.+ Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific project requirements.+ Track project performance to ensure successful completion of short and long-term goals.+ Estimate change orders for assigned projects.+ Manage all job closeout procedures.Essential Skills+ 10-20 years of experience as a Project Manager at an electrical contractor.+ Strong understanding of electrical project management and design engineering.+ Proficiency in project coordination.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Experience in diverse sectors including hospitals, industrial, data centers, commercial, government, and energy.+ Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.+ Strong documentation and reporting skills.Work EnvironmentThis role primarily operates in an office located in Owings Mills, with occasional fieldwork. While in the field, candidates may work near moving mechanical parts and in various weather conditions. There may be occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles and a risk of electrical shock. The noise level is usually moderate. The company culture includes a yearly holiday party, weekly ice cream trucks in the summer, and casual Fridays. Additionally, donuts are delivered by vendors on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and there are opportunities for continuing education.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owings Mills, MD.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.08 - $93.75/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
