Job Title: Sr. Construction Superintendent* Solar Superintendent experience required* If interested, please apply or email me directly at *darwoodard@actalentservices.com*Job Description* We are seeking a Sr. Construction Superintendent to manage on-site operations and coordinate subcontractors to ensure timely completion of solar construction projects. The role requires overseeing quality control, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day operations and administrative duties on-site.Coordinate work on-site and manage subcontractors.Review and interpret construction drawings and plans to ensure work is executed according to specifications.Communicate regularly with the project team and provide updates on project progress.Manage inventory and deliveries on-site.Take pictures of progress and report back to the project manager.Conduct inspections and document information from other contractors/engineers to ensure it is communicated to the right people.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA and company policies.Essential SkillsStrong experience in civil construction, electrical, and mechanical aspects of solar construction.Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings (civil, electrical, and mechanical).Proficient with Procore, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Familiarity with Apple iPads.Strong leadership and communication skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to travel as required, with a company truck provided.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in ground mount solar management preferred.Leadership experience overseeing crews in construction.Solar construction experience is highly desired.Work EnvironmentThe work environment involves construction project sites, specifically ground mount solar projects.All projects are conveniently located within an hour of the office.The team consists of 50-55 employees, fostering a close-knit and collaborative atmosphere.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marlborough, MA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
