The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry work related to bridge construction projects. As a Bridge Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining bridges using a variety of tools and materials.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESConstruct and repair bridge structures according to blueprints and specificationsMeasure, cut, and shape wood, concrete, and other materials to build bridge componentsInstall and secure bridge components such as beams, trusses, and railingsEnsure that all work meets safety standards and regulationsCollaborate with other construction team members to complete projects on time and within budgetMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSProven experience as a Carpenter, preferably with a focus on bridge constructionKnowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materialsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsTWIC CardStrong attention to detail and precision in workmanshipPhysical strength and stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditionsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAvailability and willingness to work weekends and night shifts per business needsAvailability and willingness to work out of town and travel to project locationsWHAT WE CAN OFFER YOUInclusive Medical, Dental, Vision, Accident, Disability, and Illness insuranceCompany paid Life insuranceHealth Savings Account contribution of up to $1,000 per year 401(k) retirement savings program with a company matchEmployee Assistance Program including discounts with major vendors & productsMental and physical wellness programsCompany paid holidaysCareer advancement opportunities with a stable well-established organizationCSG/SJ Hamill does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firms or agencies.
