Our fingerprints touch thousands of brands across the marketplace, and we're passionate about delivering the simple pleasures of dairy from our farmer family owners to people everywhere.OUR TRUCK DRIVERS FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE:$33.00 per hourSCHEDULE: M, T, F, Sat: 3:00AM - FinishBENEFITS:Competitive payAll CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers have daily routes and are home nightly Paid vacation and holidaysCareer growth opportunities - we promote from withinComprehensive healthcare benefitsService recognition and employee rewardsUniforms providedWork for dairy farm familiesJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOperate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practicesDeliver products or assets according to route schedule and customer delivery expectations (e.g., put deliveries inside coolers and walk-ins) in a safe and timely manner. Follow designated routes and schedules unless otherwise directed by supervisory personnelReport delivery delays to management due to road conditions, accidents or breakdownsBased on route design, load and unload product as required at designated stops (2-wheel cart and/or pallet jacket); may include stocking and ordering of product (varies from route to route)Communicate effectively and maintain good relations with customers and report any problems to the driver supervisor or managerEnsure and/or perform proper maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment used (tires, fuel, oil check, etc.) and maintain a clean vehicleComplete all daily paperwork fully and correctly each day. Maintain all log and trip records according to company policy and DOT guidelinesPerform load inventory and document condition of freight before departureAttend all driver workshops and training sessionsUse company supported applications or systems properlyRepresent DFA positively and professionally at all times during interactions with customers or other individualsThe requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required6 months related experience preferredValid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record21+ years of ageMust be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal checks)Ability to read, write and communicate in EnglishAbility to push, pull, & lift to 55 lbs.Flexibility - overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidaysAn Equal Opportunity Employer
