The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients.Job SummaryOur client is seeking an experienced Outpatient Coder for a contract opportunity spanning approximately 4-6 months. This position involves remote access to work specific queues organized by physician, department, or service. The primary focus will be on reviewing cardiology charges coded by providers and making necessary CPT, ICD-10, or modifier adjustments in compliance with payer and regulatory guidelines.Key Responsibilities Maintain productivity of 100-150 encounters per day. Review cardiology charges coded by providers. Make necessary CPT, ICD-10, or modifier adjustments in compliance with guidelines.Additional RequirementsEquipment not provided; candidates must use their own equipment with remote access granted.Opportunity for contract-to-hire if residing in IL, WI, or IN.Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
