Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. This position requires specialized skills in school-based therapy, with a focus on developing and implementing interventions to enhance students functional performance and participation in educational activities.Location: Waynesville, MOType: Contract position within a school environment Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students with diverse learning needs. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with educational goals. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom. Conduct assessments and regularly document student progress to adjust interventions as necessary. Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living to maximize independence and academic success. Qualifications and Experience: Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required. Demonstrated experience working within school settings, specifically with elementary school caseloads. Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and early childhood through elementary educational practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with school teams and families. Ability to manage caseloads while maintaining detailed documentation and compliance with school policies.
