Through its affiliate, Peachtree Group Hospitality Management, Peachtree manages the performance of 100+ hotels across 27 brands with 14,000+ rooms in 26 states.SummaryThe Project Manager (MEP), Hospitality will be responsible to oversee project management of Capex MEP replacements from bid to completion for projects assigned by the Vice President of Engineering for a portfolio of hotels. Part of this oversight includes limited project management on special projects such as emergency remediation and reconstruction incidents and managing the third-party vendors completing this work.Role and ResponsibilitiesReview yearly capital plans for the planning of scope, quoting and scheduling according to cash flow months slated for these projects in tandem with VP of EngineeringEnsure projects are completed on schedule, within budget and deliver maximum value while providing a safe work environment and high-quality standards in the areas these projects are being completedEnsure all technical aspects of the projects comply with Conditions of Contract, Particular Specifications, General Specifications, Contract DrawingsEnsure all specifications and authority regulations indicated in technical submittals are followed on-siteResearches any available rebates related to equipment replacements through utility programs and energy reduction initiativesReports work progress and necessary on-site modifications to clients, consultants, and main contractorsSupervise all MEP subcontractors, coordinating with hotels/consultants for material and site installation approvals on assigned projectsCoordinate the work of subcontractors throughout different phases of the projectTrack and manage all related bid summaries, RFPs and other relevant documents.Monitor and control work progress to ensure completion within the allocated time and resourcesPractice and promote safe work habits at all sitesAdditional responsibilities as required by executive management.QualificationsHigh School diploma with trade school/college course work in the related field required. Certification in one or more of the following trades preferred- HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Project ManagementFive years (or more) management-level engineering or project management field (I.e. commercial, industrial, hotel or health care)In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, techniques, concepts and building codesKnowledge of MEP construction (electrical and controls)BenefitsPeachtree Group provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
