Job DescriptionImmediate need for a talented Cell Processing Specialist. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Frederick, Maryland(Onsite). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:For the first 6–8 weeks, all new hires must work Monday–Friday, 07:30–16:00 to complete New Hire Orientation + Technical Manufacturing Training.After training, you will transition into one of the following 4/10 shifts based on department needs:Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat)Swing Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM (Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat)Work in a brand-new facility dedicated to commercial cell therapy productionBe part of a mission-driven organization transforming cancer treatmentGain hands-on experience with automated cell processing and expansion technologiesCollaborative environment with QA, QC, Materials Management, and technical expertsCompetitive schedules with 4/10 shifts and long-term potentialExecute and verify GMP manufacturing steps according to batch records and SOPsOperate and maintain automated cell processing, expansion, and filling systems in Grade B/C cleanroomsComplete required training to maintain ongoing cGMP readinessPerform troubleshooting on equipment and process deviations, escalating issues promptlyAssist with investigations, deviations, and change controls to maintain regulatory complianceAuthor, revise, and review SOPs to ensure accuracy and operational clarityMaintain aseptic technique and full gowning requirements for classified spacesIdentify process improvement opportunities to enhance safety, compliance, and efficiencyWear a respirator when required during specific cleaning proceduresKey Requirements and Technology Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Life SciencesAssociate’s Degree in Life Sciences + 1+ year biotech experienceHigh School Diploma/GED + 2+ years cGMP manufacturing experienceHands-on experience with cell therapy, cell culture, CAR-T, or biologics manufacturingExperience operating automated cell processing systemsPrevious work in cleanroom-classified environmentsStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyOur client is a leading Healthcare Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
