In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to execute and oversee various project tasks using advanced technologies. Your expertise in Civil 3D, combined with your analytical skills, will be crucial in ensuring project success and client satisfaction.Responsibilities+ Perform volume calculations and prepare cut-sheets.+ Utilize Civil 3D for grading, utilities layouts, slope analysis, point groups, alignments, and surfaces.+ Support field crews by setting up project documents, site layouts, and data for job locations.+ Collaborate with the Project Manager to run and manage projects effectively.+ Coordinate and communicate with clients to discuss project timelines and updates.+ Conduct calculations for tasks such as curb layout, as-builts, and existing conditions using Civil 3D.+ Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly.+ Assist with procurement and budgeting processes.+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.+ Prepare detailed reports and maintain project documentation.Essential Skills+ 3-5 years of experience in construction survey or civil design.+ Proficient in Civil 3D, specifically working on point groups, alignments, and surfaces.+ Strong understanding of grading, utilities, and slope analysis.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and project management software.+ Strong understanding of construction plans, survey principles, and utility mapping.+ Analytical and mathematical skills for volume calculations and cut-sheet preparation.+ Experience in drafting, land surveying, heavy civil construction, and land development.Work EnvironmentThis is an in-office role with potential hybrid flexibility once the candidate is comfortable with our processes and has established a standard operating rhythm. Our office accommodates around 30 individuals, including surveyors, technicians, and administrative staff. We pride ourselves on using state-of-the-art equipment, such as robotic total stations and GPS receivers, to deliver precise results. Additionally, we support our employees in obtaining certifications and licensing to further enhance their professional growth.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgewater, NJ.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
