A peaceful and beautiful view to inspire you creatively.Job responsibilities:Manage bridge projects located throughout New England and other locals as neededPrepare and perform complex structural analysis, and design calculations, drawings and details for engaging bridge projects.Lead and assemble a qualified project team to successfully complete complex projects or challenging client deliverables on time and within budgetAssist with the management of design, review process and permitting through outside agenciesAssist with business development, client presentations and proposal preparations for exciting and challenging bridge projects.Coordinate with clients with submittals, meetings and comments as required for successful project delivery, and client satisfactionCoordinate with and manage technical staff to meet project deadlines with sub-consultantsDevelop, monitor, and maintain engineering budgets on bridge projectsMentor, train and review work performed by junior engineering staffAchieve excellent financial performance for Hoyle TannerProvide superior client service by responding to needs and understanding concernsMaintain and foster team engagement and satisfaction in completing project tasks and collaborating with subconsultants and other disciplinesResolve team personnel conflicts in conjunction with supervisorsLead efforts in pursuit of potential projects and the development of technical and price proposalsMonitor and manage resources to complete projects in accordance with the contract, scope of services, budget, and schedule. Efficiently and effectively use Deltek/VantagePoint and other management tools.Promptly invoice for services rendered and advocate for outstanding accounts receivableMonitor product quality and ensure a quality management plan is developed with roles defined accordinglyKeep Principal-In-Charge informed of potential claims or contract risks as they arise and collaborate on resolution strategies as neededProvide coaching, mentoring and feedback to other project managersRequirementsQualificationsBS, MS degree (preferred)Professional Engineering License in one or more New England states15+ years of increasing engineering or planning and leadership experienceAt least 5 years of experience as a project managerStrong communication skills, an acute understanding of project finances, scheduling, and client management skillsSalary is contingent on experienceHoyle Tanner is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
