This role supports Medical Technologists, ensures accurate specimen handling, and provides compassionate, professional service to patients, families, and care team members.Essential FunctionsPerform venipuncture and capillary blood collection following established policies and proceduresVerify physician orders and ensure accurate specimen labeling and documentationCollect, process, and transport specimens to appropriate laboratory departmentsAssist Medical Technologists with routine clinical laboratory dutiesPerform clerical responsibilities including order verification, registration, and documentationCommunicate effectively with patients, nursing staff, physicians, and laboratory team membersMaintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standardsProvide respectful, compassionate care to patients of all agesEducation & ExperienceRequired: High School Diploma or equivalent.
