Our customer, a leading AM Law 100 firm, is seeking an Insurance Litigation Attorney. This role involves handling a high volume of automobile liability insurance matters for a major institutional client.Projected Start/end date: Approximately November 17Duration: 3 Months (with the potential opportunity to renew for up to one year).Hours per Week: 40 hours per weekLocation: This is a hybrid role based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. Candidates must be willing to work in the office for onboarding and orientation, as well as periodically as needed.Key Responsibilities:Manage a substantial caseload of auto liability insurance claims for a major institutional client.Review, analyze, and respond to insurance coverage issues and disputes.Draft correspondence and other legal documents related to auto liability claims.Collaborate with a collegial and supportive team of attorneys and staff.Qualifications:J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed in the District of Columbia.5+ years of Insurance Litigation Attorney experience, preferably in-house or with technology-focused clients.Strong organizational skills and ability to handle a high volume of matters efficiently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Residency in Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia is acceptable for this position; however, candidates must possess a District of Columbia license. A candidate residing in Virginia does not need to hold a Virginia license, provided they are licensed in the District of Columbia.
