Delivery Technician

Reports to: Logistics Operations ManagerPosition Overview:The Delivery Technician (Delivery Driver) provides transportation and security support to our manufacturing operations. Ensures that The Cannabist Company products make it from each site in a timely and safe manner. Imperative to the success of this role is working as a collaborative member of the team, as well as the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment where systems and processes are continuously evolving.Full TimePay: $18.00/hrMajor Areas of Responsibility include:Audit and reconcile the delivery manifest, ensuring specifications, quantity, and quality or orders are correctDrive between manufacturing facility and multiple dispensary locations on a regular basisIdentify and resolve discrepanciesEnsure compliance delivery standards are met for each transport in accordance with State regulationsValidate the accuracy of each delivery and ensure deliveries are made using controlled methodsMinimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.2+ years previous security work history/background1+ years driving experienceHolds a valid unrestricted state driver's licenseMaintainan insurable and a safe driving recordMust be detail oriented, computer literate with above average math skillsSome weekends required as neededTravel %: 75% (daily travel)FLSA status: Non-exemptAdditional Abilities Required:The job requires physical activity, including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, climbing, and lifting or moving up to 50pounds (or more with a coworker). Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive motions with accuracy is required.
