Construction Checker

Job DescriptionWe're looking for an experienced Construction Inspector/Checker to join a growing engineering team covering sites along the Highway 1 corridor - from Swainsboro to Sandersville (including counties like Washington, Wilkes, Emanuel, Laurens, and Jefferson).Position Details: Pay Rate: $21-$30/hr (based on experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8 AM - 5 PM Location: Field-based across Middle Georgia; company vehicle provided Travel: Yes - local/regional (report to Augusta office once a week)Key Responsibilities: Inspect water and sewer utilities, civil site work, and commercial building projects Document fieldwork with photos, daily logs, as-built drawings, and inspection forms Coordinate with contractors and communicate issues with the project manager Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with specs and plansRequirements: 5+ years of construction inspection or supervision experience E&S Level 1A Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Strong knowledge of water/sewer systems, treatment plants, and construction plans Comfortable working independently in the field with limited supervisionThis is a 6-month temp-to-perm role offering great stability, a company vehicle, and 100% company-paid individual medical benefits once converted.Meet Your RecruiterJacob Perry
