Survey Crew Chief

Job DescriptionSurvey Crew ChiefWorking with an outstanding engineering firm in the area searching for a skilled Survey Crew Chief. This position will be responsible for mapping and construction projects. The Survey Crew Chief will be the supervisor of a field survey crew engaged in various types of surveys including performing boundary and topographic surveys for a multi-disciplinary engineering firm. The Survey Crew Chief will document all phases of survey work.Requirements of Survey Crew Chief: Use and understand survey equipment such as total stations, GPS and data collectors Download and upload survey data to and from the office Read construction plans Locate property corners Communicate with project team including owners, managers, clients, and coworkers Perform work duties including but not limited to: digging holes for monuments, walking on rugged terrain, and obtaining invert information on utilities Experience: Ideal work experience 2+ years, ability to eventually lead a crew Ability to perform mathematical calculations Ability to work independently and balance the workload to accommodate demands of the job to exceed client expectations Bachelor's (Preferred) Company Highlights and Benefits: Multi-disciplinary setting, flexible schedule, family-oriented firm 30 years in business 70% of work is repeat business Experts in Civil, Land development, Stormwater Management and Land Surveying Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k Partnership track, great growth potential, can lead into a management position Very involved in community and charity events, take care of employees and their families Great reputation in PA and surrounding markets.
