Location: Fort Lauderdale/Davie, FL
Position: Full-Time | Comprehensive Benefits
Starting Pay: $18.20/hour ($35,490 annually)
Department: Financial Aid & Academic Records
Are you detail-oriented, great with numbers, and passionate about helping others? Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Student Accounts Representative to join our team
In this role, you'll help students and families navigate their financial accounts, understand payment options, and resolve billing questions while contributing to a positive student experience.
What You'll Do
- Assist students and families with account balances, billing questions, and payment options.
- Review and reconcile student accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process payments, invoices, refunds, and account adjustments.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with university departments to support student financial needs.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's degree or 60 college credits.
- One year of finance-related office experience and at least three months of bookkeeping or cashiering experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and comfort working with numbers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Bonus: Experience in higher education, student accounting, or Banner systems is a plus
