With a focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, we are committed to delivering RMS solutions that exceed expectations and set new standards for performance and reliability\.THE WORKAs the Test Technician you will be responsible for leading the testing and troubleshooting of complex hardware systems, identifying and resolving issues, and collaborating with cross‐functional teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of problems\.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:\- Testing and troubleshooting hardware systems, including mobile training systems and their subassemblies\.\- Identifying and resolving complex technical issues\.\- Collaborating with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure effective problem‐solving\.\- Developing and implementing test procedures and protocols\.\- Leading and mentoring junior technicians to ensure knowledge sharing and skill developmentWHO WE AREOur functional group, the Production Operations Test Technicians, is composed of 7 professionals with a common purpose to provide the pilots of the United States and our Allies with high quality pilot training devices\. We are the connection between each program's development engineers who integrate new capabilities into subsystems and the remainder of our Production Operations organization who create high quality products in repeatable processes\. We have a unique role that gains expertise in both deployable hardware and deployable software\.WHO YOU AREAs a Production Operations Test Technician, you understand the interoperability of subsystems within the system that you produce\. While integration engineers may know their subsystem better you, no one on the program knows the entire system better than you\. Government customers, program managers, and other engineers come to you when they need a holistic assessment\. Our mission\-driven organization is dedicated to making a positive impact in the world, and we're looking for talented and passionate individuals to help us achieve our goals\.**Basic Qualifications:**- High School diploma or equivalent- Additional specialized training equivalent to a technical associate degree or demonstrated ability to perform technical/para\-engineering tasks with 1 year of experience**Desired Skills:**- Technical associate degree- Work experience in maintenance, production, test, or related fields- Electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting- Basic blueprint reading / understanding of schematics, technical drawings, industry specifications- Computer skills- Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge and ESD mitigation principles- Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9000- Previous experience using automated test equipment is a plus- Heavy equipment/machine operation \(industrial/construction/farm/etc\.\) is a plus- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using a standard digital multimeter \(DMM\) is a plus- Familiarity with advanced test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital power supplies, signal generators, digital multimeters is a plus- Experience with mate/de\-mate of electrical connectors is a plus- Team player with demonstrated initiative and accountability- Effective interpersonal skills and communication skills**Clearance Level:** None**Other Important Information You Should Know****Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\.
