Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is hiring experienced Medical Assistants to join our Resource Team in a multispecialty outpatient clinic. This full-time, benefits-eligible role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and weekday-focused schedules. Work Monday-Friday with rotating Saturday mornings, either four 9-hour shifts (36 hrs/week) or five 8-hour shifts (40 hrs/week). Light travel to clinics in Boulder, Louisville, and Longmont is required.As a Resource Team Medical Assistant, you'll provide clinical and administrative support, assist providers across multiple specialties, and help ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality preventive care. Job Duties: Perform clinic administrative duties, including but not limited to, answering incoming telephone calls, obtaining and/or verifying patient information, patient check in/out, coordinate and facilitate accurate patient appointment Obtain patient medical history, vital signs, chart preparation, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist with medical examinations Maintain accurate and strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and/or manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policies Preparing examination room, ensuring proper equipment is present and room is adequately stocked Document all aspects of the patient encounter on an electronic medical record system Experience and Skills Must be able to recognize and identify patient's symptoms and use appropriate professional judgment in course of action. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and work at all four (4) BMC sites, as assigned. Must be available by phone to accept assignment changes as needed. Education Requirements (one of the following options): Completion of Medical Assistant education. *Certification is not required but preferred. Other completed medical training and proof of active certification with 1+ years of recent field experience is an acceptable substitution. (Examples include but are not limited to: EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA, etc.). Military medical training and education with supporting documentation is an acceptable substitution of Medical Assistant specific credentials. Experience: Required 5 or more years of experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a clinic setting. The starting hourly pay range for this position is commensurate with experience: $20.80 - $27.73 (full range $20.80 - $31.20) This position will be posted for a minimum of three days, subsequently until filled.Location(s): Boulder County, CO
