We are looking for a dedicated Advanced Patient Care Technician like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsAs an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be an important part of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Under the guidance of a registered nurse, you will perform advanced clinical tasks and help create a safe, welcoming environment where patients and families feel valued and respected.Observe patients, document changes, and communicate them with the nursing teamHelp patients with daily needs (ADLs) such as eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safelyProvide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removing IV lines and catheters, and care for woundsAssist with supporting tasks like collecting lab samples and assisting with clerical duties to keep care running smoothlyLook ahead to what patients might need, respond quickly, and help ensure every experience feels seamless and compassionateWhat qualifications you will need:* Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateSt. David's Round Rock Medical Center is a 200+ bed acute-care facility located north of Austin, Texas. This comprehensive medical center features the only hybrid operating room in the county, a 24-hour emergency department with a Level II trauma center, and leading-edge cardiac care through the Heart Hospital of Austin at St. David's Round Rock.
