This position will also be assigned general labor duties, and requires overtime, weekends, and travel.LocationSioux City, IASalary$28 - $35/hr DOEResponsibilitiesAbility to read and understand blueprints and isometric drawingsAbility to layout and sketch isometric drawings for piping runsAbility to perform take offs for pipe cut lengthsAbility to fit, fabricate and install various types of piping runs (socket weld, butt weld, sanitary, flanged, threaded, and compression)Ability to layout, fabricate and install hangers, pipe supports or equipment from drawings and job specificationsAbility to take directions and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workersAbility to be self-motivated, work independently or as part of a teamAbility to efficiently operate various hand and power toolsAbility to work at elevationsQualificationsMinimum of 2 years' pipe fitting experience (industrial setting preferred)Must pass fitter's test (company)Valid drivers' license (good record preferred)Ability to travel frequently, work overtime and weekendsAbility to pass drug test and physical capacity profile
