OTR Regional Midwest Truck Driver (Oskaloosa Ia.)Mahaska Bottling has an immediate opening at our Oskaloosa Ia. location for anOver the Road Truck Driver to deliver freight to our existing locations, andcustomers.Description of Essential Job FunctionsSafely operate tractor-trailer combination.• Perform vehicle inspections required under sections 396.13 of the FederalMotor Carriers Safety Regulations.• Maintain a current Class A CDL.• Operate and maintain records in accordance with Federal Motor CarrierSafety Regulations (FMCSR), Department of Transportation (DOT) andcompany policies as required.• Provide excellent service to customers.• Able to work a flexible schedule M-F, and as many as 10-14 hours in a day.Some weekend work depending on customer demands when needed.• Dedicate regional Midwest runs. Home daily most nights with limitedovernights when needed.• Perform other duties as assigned.Skills & Experience• Possess and maintain a valid Class A Commercial driver's license.• Minimum of 1 years of CDL driving experience.• Must have excellent time management skills• Excellent organizations skills. Keeping track of paperwork accurately. (Logbooks, Bill of Ladings, Fuel reporting, etc.)• Must be 21 years of age or older.• Safe driving record and history.• Pass DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals.• Pass DOT physical.All job offers are contingent upon passing the pre-employment background check and drug screening process.
