See our impressive benefits package for more information.Location: Burlington, VTSituated in the heart of Burlington's downtown district, our office sits high on the fourth floor of the Wells-Richardson historic building overlooking the beautiful Lake Champlain waterfront and Adirondack Mountains.Responsibilities:Achieve excellent financial performance for Hoyle TannerProvide superior client service by responding to needs and understanding concernsLead and assemble a qualified project team to successfully complete complex projects or challenging client deliverables on time and within budgetMaintain and foster team engagement and satisfaction in completing project tasks and collaborating with subconsultants and other disciplinesResolve team personnel conflicts in conjunction with supervisorsLead efforts in pursuit of potential projects and the development of technical and price proposalsMonitor and manage resources to complete projects in accordance with the contract, scope of services, budget, and schedule.Efficiently and effectively use Vantagepoint and other management toolsPromptly invoice for services rendered and advocate for outstanding accounts receivableMonitor product quality and ensure a quality management plan is developed with the roles defined accordinglyKeep both Chief Civil Engineer and Principal-In-Charge informed of potential claims or contract risks as they arise and collaborate on resolution strategies as neededMay be a Team Lead responsible for supervising staff and assisting in career development, training, and managing work assignments to maintain effective billability of the teamProvide coaching, mentoring and feedback to other project managersMay be a Contract Administrator responsible for selective management duties on construction projectsRequirementsQualifications:BS (MS preferred) in Civil Engineering20+ years of experience in managing projects and staff with 5+ years experience as a PMExperienced in DES funding and grantsCurrent PE in either NH, MA, ME, or VT with ability to obtain reciprocal licensesFlexibility in work schedule and the ability to maintain a hand in both technical and management rolesAbility to develop and maintain client relations and expand upon business opportunitiesSalary is contingent on experienceHoyle Tanner is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
