The ideal candidate will manage tax compliance and planning for our clients, with a focus on real estate. This position is crucial for ensuring accurate tax return preparation and adherence to regulations in a dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the preparation and filing of corporate and individual tax returns.Develop tax strategies and planning initiatives for clients, with an emphasis on real estate transactions.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and guidelines.Conduct tax research and keep abreast of changes in tax laws that may impact clients.Review and advise on tax provisions and ensure accurate reporting on financial statements.Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive tax solutions and services.Mentor and train junior staff members in tax compliance and best practices.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on taxation.Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly in real estate.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
