Operation Clerk / Freight Forwarder - Import Operations -Japanese Bilingual Job Num: 58267Logistics / Import & ExportJob Description***Japanese Bilingual skill requiredFreight Forwarder - Import OperationsEmployment Type: Full-time / Non-ExemptIndustry: LogisticsWork Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM (overtime, weekend work may be required; compensatory time off available)Wage: $19-22 per hourBenefit: Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) after 90 days, company-covered for up to 4 family members; 401(k) eligibility after 1 year with 3% company matchKey ResponsibilitiesReview shipping documents and submit to Customs BrokerMonitor clearance status with CBP/OGA (FDA, USDA, FWS), follow up directly if neededNotify customers of delays or holds, and coordinate delivery/pickup schedulesVerify and recondition cargo as necessary (re-icing, re-packing, minor repairs)Manage warehouse, cooler, and freezer inventoryCommunicate with customers, vendors, and overseas/domestic agentsHandle billing, invoices, and file closing in accordance with fee schedulesProvide quotations and maintain competitive ratesStay updated on import/export regulations and TSA complianceQualificationsGeneral knowledge of logistics and import/export regulationsStrong learning attitude, problem-solving, and negotiation skillsEffective time management and multitasking abilitiesBasic arithmetic skills for conversions and rate calculationsStrong communication skills in English; Japanese bilingual ability is requiredFlexibility and proactive mindsetTo apply, please send your resume to ydoro@pasona.comJob DetailsCity: El SegundoState: CAJob Type: Permanent JobSalary High: 45000.00Salary Low: 40000.00Languages: English;JapaneseHours of Operation: 9-6Benefits:Contact InformationJob Owner: Yurie DoroJob Owner Email : ydoro@pasona.com
