This hybrid position focuses on managing incoming materials, inventory, and parts within the plant while serving as a backup CDL driver for local deliveries and vendor transfers. The majority of this role is plant-based, supporting daily production and materials flow.Responsibilities and DutiesReceive and verify incoming parts against purchase orders.Record and manage materials in the Shenandoah Manufacturing System (SMS).Assign and track work orders according to production priorities.Maintain accurate inventory and documentation.Load and stage supplies for production and move finished parts to the next department.Scan materials in and out of inventory using SMS.Serve as backup CDL driver for local deliveries and trailer movement (home daily).Operate hand and electric pallet jacks safely.Follow all safety and PPE procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Valid Class B CDL required; Class A CDL preferred.Experience in manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or inventory management preferred.Proficiency with basic math and attention to detail for inventory accuracy.Ability to operate pallet jacks and handle materials safely.Dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or in a team.Physically able to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and reaching.Physical RequirementsStand and walk for most of the shift.Lift up to 40 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.Perform repetitive motions including bending, twisting, and reaching.Work EnvironmentManufacturing plant setting with exposure to wood dust, adhesives, and equipment noise.
