Applicants should have the ability to:Design, construct, erect, install and repair structures and other items of wood, plywood, and wallboards with the use of electric power toolsMust have carpentry experience and experience working on Industrial Construction ProjectsMust have knowledge of materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form constructionMust be able to compute basic arithmetic functions, measure, mark and cut equipment and materials to specificationOperate various hand and power toolsLubricate and maintain carpenter equipmentBuild and set forms, use level instrument, finish carpentry work, read tape/rulerEstimate material requirements and tools or equipment needed to perform jobErect or dismantle structures, repair or refinish walls or structuresMust be able to understand all safety hazards related to the workMust be able and willing to follow all safety rules and regulationsMaintain general housekeeping in or around working area.Perform other tasks and duties as needed or instructed.Requirements:Ability to meet cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research - NCCER Skill AssessmentAbility to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.Minimum 5 years craft-specific experience working as a Carpenter on an industrial construction projectKnowledgeable in communication and applicable OSHA rules and regulationsOther Information:Excellent wages and complete benefits package.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.ISC evaluates and hires applicants for employment based exclusively upon the applicant's merit.
