In this pivotal role, you will oversee our residential electrical department, take on our project bidding procedures, and lead a team of electricians in executing high-quality work with an emphasis on excellent customer service. Your expertise will ensure that our electrical systems are reliable, efficient, and up to code.ResponsibilitiesInterpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications and requirementsProduce estimating takeoffs, assembling finished proposals, and managing projects.Follow up on all leads, proposals, and potential sales until closed or lost.Establish goals and objectives related to the position, along with a plan of action to attain or exceed set goals. Regularly review and monitor progress against goals, and seek assistance as needed.Lead and mentor a team of electricians, providing guidance and training on best practices and safety protocolsCollaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of electrical workStay updated with the latest electrical codes, regulations, and industry standardsRequired and Preferred QualificationsRequired:Valid Master Electrician licenseMinimum of 5 years of experience in residential electrical installation and maintenanceMinimum of 5 years of experience in residential electrical bidding processes.Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standardsProven experience managing electrical projects from inception to completionPreferred:Strong communication and leadership skillsTechnical Skills and Relevant TechnologiesProficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematicsExperience with electrical troubleshooting tools and technologiesKnowledge of energy-efficient systems and practicesSoft Skills and Cultural FitStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challengesAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenCommitment to promoting a positive culture of safety and complianceBenefits and PerksSalary range: $80,000+ depending on relevant qualifications.
