Soni's Client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to support firm growth and lead a high-performing tax team. This hybrid (2-3 days on-site) role is based out of Cherry Hill, NJ and offers strong visibility, client interaction, and leadership opportunities. Key Responsibilities of the Tax Manager: Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff across multiple engagements. Review individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and estate tax returns. Manage full engagement lifecycle from planning through delivery. Provide clear, constructive feedback to support staff development. Communicate directly with clients; build and maintain strong relationships. Coordinate workflow across multiple simultaneous projects. Support business development through networking and community involvement. Stay updated on tax laws and accounting standards. Prepare accurate client invoices. Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance. Qualifications & Requirements of the Tax Manager: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Active CPA license required. 6-8 years of progressive public accounting experience (tax focus). Proven experience reviewing a wide range of tax return types. Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills. Experience managing engagements independently. Proficiency with CCH Access and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Compensation: $150,000 to $160,000 annually Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
