Job DescriptionCarriage Animal Hospital in Lombard, IL is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our amazing TEAM We are a growing, fast-paced small animal veterinary hospital seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented veterinary technician. We hold ourselves to the highest standards in pet care and customer service, maintaining professionalism and integrity in everything we do. We are a state-of-the-art facility, equipped with digital full body & dental radiology, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and wellness care. Veterinary Technicians play an important role in our hospital whether they are handling patient care, taking care of clients, assisting doctors in surgery, or providing quality nursing care to hospitalized patients. We are looking for a compassionate technician who is ready to put their skills to work as well as bring fresh ideas to the tablePosition requires:* A CVT or Experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care.* Possessing clinical skills and experience that include (but are not limited to):o Patient assessment and physical examinationso Phlebotomy and catheter placemento Knowledge of radiology safety and proper techniqueo Anesthesia monitoring proficiencyo Perioperative surgical nursing skillso Routine dental prophylaxis experienceo Knowledge of basic laboratory proceduresAnticipated Schedule (TBD):* Full-time & Part-time positions potentially available with rotating weekends.* Flexible scheduling* Our hospital is open:o Monday through Friday, 8am - 6pmo Saturday, 8am - 2pmBenefits:* Employee Pet Discount* Uniform Allowance* NVA/Ethos offers a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, vision, a 401k with employer match, and paid time off for all eligible employees.
