Join Our Team as a Musical Instrument Repair Technician About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled technician to join our repair shop, where your expertise will bring musical instruments back to life. Your role will involve repairing a variety of instruments in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring they are returned in excellent playing condition. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently repair rental instruments upon their return. Adhere to established quality guidelines for all repairs. Maintain accurate production records. Take on additional tasks as assigned by management. About Music & Arts: Music & Arts began its journey in 1952, founded by Benjamin O'Brien in Bethesda, MD. We specialize in providing quality musical instruments, lessons, and artistic supplies. Over the years, we have grown to become the largest retailer for band and orchestra instruments in the U.S., with over 200 retail stores and numerous educational representatives. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Completion of an apprenticeship or diploma from an accredited repair school. Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English. Experience with standard repair tools and equipment. At least 2 years of hands-on experience repairing musical instruments. Ability to diagnose and repair brass, woodwind, percussion, and orchestral instruments effectively. Preferred Qualifications: 4 or more years of relevant repair experience. Advanced skills in repairing various musical instruments. Desired Skills: Goal-oriented and self-motivated. Consistently produce high-quality repairs. Open to feedback and direction from management. Strong problem-solving aptitude for diagnosing issues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excited to apply?
