As a result, a full-time position is available for a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Engineering group. This opportunity is available at any of the following office locations: Denver, CO; Madison, WI; West Allis, WI (Greater Milwaukee Area); Dallas, TX; San Diego, CA; or Tampa, FL. Responsibilities include: Using 3D BIM software for design, coordination and plan development of mechanical piping and air systems Preparing reports and studies related to mechanical systems Selecting, specifying and estimating costs of mechanical equipment Performing load calculations and/or energy analysis Conducting periodic construction site inspections Other tasks as assigned. The successful candidate must have the following: A bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university At least four years of relevant mechanical engineering experience A PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states A valid driver's license, about 25% travel, and entrance onto military bases and airports will be required for this position. The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all the following: Leading mechanical design of building projects Designing supply, return, and exhaust systems Performing load calculations and/or energy modeling Revit Designing plumbing systems At Mead & Hunt we shape the future by putting people first.
