About the Opportunity: Provide on-call coverage for the OB-GYN department at a local hospital, ensuring timely care for women in labor and delivery, and other obstetric emergencies. Ideal for a board-certified OB-GYN physician seeking a locum tenens position with minimal administrative duties. Start Date: ASAP End Date: June 30, 2024 (flexible within June) Responsibilities: Respond to call requests and provide obstetric care, including deliveries and management of pregnancy complications. Conduct patient consultations and develop treatment plans as needed. Collaborate effectively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain a high standard of patient care and communication. Qualifications: Active medical license in the state of Texas (only). Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (fellowship preferred). ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required. Experience in a hospital setting with obstetrics is preferred. Excellent clinical skills, a strong knowledge base in obstetrics and gynecology, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
