Staff Platform EngineerLocation: Hybrid onsite, Greater Seattle AreaCompensation: $190K – $230K Base + Equity + Bonus opportunitiesOur client, an early-stage technology company is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to help build the foundation of its next-generation platform. The team is focused on creating smarter, more intuitive customer experiences by leveraging modern software and AI technologies. This role offers the chance to work closely with experienced founders and contribute to shaping a product designed to transform a major software category.Responsibilities:Design and develop high-quality software, driving architecture and full lifecycle delivery of new platform capabilities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time.Build integrations with tools across the ecosystem.Partner with leadership on strategy for customer-facing experiences.Write technical documentation and improve internal processes.Take ownership of technical direction and decisions.Mentor engineers in the technology stack.Establish engineering standards and best practices.Qualifications:8+ years of experience building scalable platforms.Strong understanding of database internals and schema design.Experience with AWS.Interest in integrating AI/LLMs into products.Hands-on experience with data pipeline technologies (Spark, Flink, etc.).Proficiency with React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Postgres.Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on impact.Experience taking software from concept to launch.Why Join:Impact: Play a pivotal role in shaping the technical foundation of a new product.Growth: Collaborate with a highly skilled team across engineering, product, design, and go-to-market functions.Rewards: Competitive compensation package including base salary, equity, and bonus opportunities.Environment: Hybrid flexibility with a culture that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence.Prime Team Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
