Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologist to provide hospital-based coverage at a Stroke Certified acute care facility in Northern California. This opportunity is due to a recent vacancy and includes general IR procedures, CT stroke reads, and diagnostic imaging. Schedule & Call:Shifts: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM with pager call coverage after hours (rarely activated)Call Expectation: Pager call with minimal actual calls or callbacks Facility Details:Setting: General Acute Care, Stroke CertifiedImaging Volume: 50 studies/day5 8 procedures/dayStudy Breakdown:CTs: X-rays: Ultrasounds: 10MRIs: 5IR Procedures: 5 8️ Required Skills:Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy TubesIntra-abdominal Abscess Drainage, Chest TubesSuprapubic CathetersCT/US Biopsies (Lung, Thyroid, Others)Barium Studies, Lumbar PuncturesStroke CT Interpretation Requirements:Board Certified/Eligible in Radiology RequiredActive California License RequiredCertifications BLS, DEA, CA Fluoroscopy Hospital Volume Snapshot:Inpatient/Obs Census: 50 patients/dayED Volume: patients/dayCase Types: Medical, Surgical, ICU, OBEMR: CernerRadiology Support: In-house techs & nurses, overflow support from regional groupApply now to take advantage of this high-paying locum role in scenic Northern California with a low-call burden and strong team support
