Join a collaborative healthcare team in one of Tennessee's top healthcare jobs, serving a vibrant patient community in Oak Ridge.Travel Nursing Job DetailsLocation: Oak Ridge, Tennessee 37830Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 12, 2026 – End: April 13, 2026)Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)Hours per Week: 36Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,930 - $2,070Unit: 4West Oncology Medical SurgicalPatient Census: 28 daily, 31 bedsWeekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 2 weekends per monthFloating: May float to other hospital units or healthcare facilities within 50 miles (minimum 2-hour notice)Registered Nurse QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact stateMinimum 2 years of recent inpatient oncology nursing experiencePrior travel nursing experience requiredBLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications requiredMust pass EKG testing prior to start dateCerner charting experience preferredFlu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)Ability to float within nursing skillset as neededCannot have worked as permanent staff at this campus within the past 24 monthsCertifications and licensure must remain valid for at least 45 days after start dateOncology RN ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality nursing care to oncology and medical-surgical patients, including post-operative and oncology complication managementMonitor and interpret telemetry as neededCollaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, social services, and more)Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation using Cerner or similar EMR systemsRespond to rapid response situations and participate in team nursing modelsFloat to other units or healthcare facilities within the system as requiredAdhere to all hospital policies, including holiday and time-off requirementsDiscover the welcoming healthcare community of Oak Ridge, TN—renowned for its friendly neighborhoods, outdoor recreation, and supportive medical environment.
