Evaluate software development practices, ensuring adherence to CMMI criteria and DoD-specific processes throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Review and analyze software, hardware, and system metrics against established performance measures and DoD compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA). Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to align QA activities with the overall objectives of the program. Prepare test reports, including defect tracking and resolution updates, for submission to DoD leadership. Guarantee adherence to security standards (e.g., DISA STIGs, FISMA) throughout testing and service delivery. Manage the program's implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS). Develop and oversee Quality Assurance Plans (QAP). Establish audit practices for internal procedures and products. Ensure compliance with performance work statements, SLAs/SLOs, EENG, and ISO standards (specifically 9001:2015) as applicable. Create and update a Tailored Process Baseline (TPB) for the program as needed. Basic Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship with a Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI clearance prior to starting. Understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) in relation to managed services and DoD programs. Experience in a testing environment compliant with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). Strong grasp of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project management processes. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced understanding of DoD security frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and DISA STIG guidelines. Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) in the context of DoD software development and testing. Knowledge of ISO 24k and 27k standards. Experience with cloud environments and testing associated with DoD-approved platforms (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Microsoft Azure for Government).
