Assist in converting the Arena, Community Ice Rink, and Conference Center to and from various events and operate the Zamboni ice re-surfacer as required.This role will pay an hourly rate of $21.00. This seamless complex offers a NHL regulation ice rink open year-round, diverse arena space that can be used for WHL hockey, basketball, indoor football, trade shows, concerts and more; as well as a full conference center that can host conventions, meetings, weddings, banquets, and more.Angel Of The Winds Arena is Snohomish County's premier entertainment and convention facility. AOTW Arena is an exciting place for residents and visitors to enjoy a variety of entertainment activities and a superior convention facility that generates a positive economic impact for the community.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and control access to and from the facilityMonitor life safety systems and respond accordinglyPerform rounds to ensure security of the facilityMonitor the parking lot and ensure only authorized vehicles are in the lotProvide information and direction to guests, contractors, etcKeep clear and concise notes for security logAssist in facility operations and maintenanceAssist in event conversions and operationsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsMust be mature, reliable and able to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all timesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAble to work flexible hours including shift work, weekends and holidays Have strong interpersonal skillsAbility to walk moderate distances and climb stairs Ability to follow instructions and adhere to Policies and ProceduresNot possess a criminal recordBackground and/or training in law and security an assetPrevious experience in a public assembly venue preferredBasic Computer KnowledgeStrengthened by our Differences.
