Job Purpose: As a Seasonal Artisan Baker, you will be part of a talented team that is passionate about creating high-quality baked goods. You will uphold the integrity of our brand by ensuring each product meets our exceptional standards of freshness and quality, all while delivering friendly service that exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities: Prepare a variety of baked goods including breakfast items (quiche, cinnamon rolls, muffins) and bread products (loaves, buns, rolls, cookies). Manage daily production, keeping accurate product counts, and effectively communicate with the Coaching team. Prepare and maintain seasonal fresh fruit for pies and garnishes. Clean and sanitize all baking machines, workstations, and large utensils to ensure a safe working environment. Label, organize, and rotate baking ingredients in storage to maintain quality, freshness, and optimal inventory levels. Receive orders, verify invoices, and assist with deliveries as necessary. Prepare the kitchen for daily operations, ensuring readiness by securing equipment and lighting ovens. Report any quality issues, recipe inconsistencies, or low inventory levels to the Coaches. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary baking area at all times. Follow all established food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines. Promote exceptional service and brand values during interactions with both team members and guests. Demonstrate leadership qualities by working independently and proactively addressing issues as they arise. Be open to cross-training in other kitchen roles as needed. Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays. Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a cook or baker, or currently enrolled in a culinary program. Proficiency in using scales, thermometers, and other measuring tools; capable of adjusting and scaling recipes. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with baking equipment such as ovens and mixers. A clear understanding of kitchen and food safety regulations. Valid Food Handlers Card as required by local regulations.
