Locum Tenens Gastroenterology Physician Needed Location: Near Cubero, New Mexico Are you a skilled Gastroenterologist looking for a locum tenens opportunity? We have positions available near Cubero, New Mexico, offering a unique experience to provide vital care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Assignment Details: Specialty: Gastroenterology Start Date: Various dates in 2023 and 2024 Shift: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday Call Schedule: 1:5 weeks, weekends and holidays only Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient ERCP required / EUS preferred Requirements: Active New Mexico license for the remaining 2023 dates. Site will consider a non-licensed provider for 2024. Board certification or eligibility (board eligible providers must have their date to sit for their boards scheduled within 12-18 months). BLS certification. Additional Details: 3 GI lab days with 18-20 procedures/day and clinic days with 18-20 visits per day. Full clinic support (APP, RN, MA) as well as APP inpatient support. Option for 2 weeks on/off coverage. 8 hours in-house (restricted time) for rounds, then call (unrestricted time). Located near Cubero, NM.
